"Final Flight of the Osiris" was eligible for a nomination this year.  (It screened theatrically, attached to Dreamcatcher.)  The folks at Warner Brothers filled out all the paperwork and submitted before the Oscar deadline.  So what's the problem?  Instead of actually sending in the film of Osiris, they accidentally submitted the first reel of Dreamcatcher.  I wonder if anyone got fired over that flub?
