Not only does the movie look to be a fun cross between Aliens, Dune, and Conan, but there's going to be a direct to video cartoon release, too.

DARK FURY bridges the five year gulf between PITCH BLACK and the sequel, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK. In DARK FURY Riddick is captured by bounty hunters and placed in the holding cells of a starship. If the ex-con is to ever escape he must fight his way past not just the bounty hunters but deadly alien creatures also held captive in the ship's cells. Peter Chung (AEON FLUX) was the project's animation supervisor.


The DVD arrives in stores on June 15, four days after THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK hits theaters.
